We are recruiting a Service Co-Ordinator within Unplanned Care, who shares our vision to be trusted in providing consistently outstanding care and an exemplary service to our patients.
In your role you will be supporting the day-to-day operational management of the Endoscopy unit.
The post-holder will support the Service Manager in the management of all aspects of the service, including performance management and will be directly responsible for the management and co-ordination of administrative staff within the directorate.
The Service Coordinator will also be jointly responsible with multidisciplinary teams e.g. nurses, clinicians and waiting list managers for robust communication and effective management of patient access issues, RTT, cancer and DM01 performance.

Main duties of the job
Alongside the multidisciplinary team and your Service Manager, you will plan and operationalise services in line with clinical staff job plans, monitoring of activity, workload and performance whilst advising the Service Manager/ Head of Operations/ Lead Clinicians of areas of concern/under performance.
You will participate in the inputting of demand and capacity modelling for the service in conjunction with the Service Manager to support performance sustainability for RTT wait times, cancer and DM01.
You will work collaboratively with clinicians to draft patient experience responses.
You will support the Clinical Director, Service Manager and Lead Nurse with our quality and safety agenda, to achieve an 'Excellence' status for your service area.
To undertake these duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines and deputise for your Service Manager when necessary.
