Your role and responsibilities As part of a team providing administrative and financial support to our Social Care and Family Support Practitioners across the North and East Ipswich and Coastal locality you will have a varied workload. You will be supervising a small team of Administrators in our Ipswich office, as well as contributing to the overall management of the wider team in our Felixstowe and Leiston offices too. This will include recruitment, training, regular staff supervisions and performance reviews. You will use your excellent communication skills to provide advice and guidance to staff on a range of administrative procedures, monitoring workloads and ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. Being based in the Ipswich office you will also be our ‘go to’ person in relation to office and premises related queries. You will need: a good working knowledge of budget administration, following financial policies and procedures experience of managing/supervising staff in an office environment excellent IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages excellent organisational skills working on your own initiative as well as effectively as part of a team.
