Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants and Pastoral Support Team Members for specialist SEN schools in Romsey and the surrounding areas, supporting children with a range of complex needs.
The Role
As part of a committed and supportive team, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
Assist in delivering tailored learning and care plans
Support students’ emotional wellbeing and behavioural development
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for working with children, especially those with additional needs
A caring, patient, and resilient nature
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to commit to a full-time role
Availability for an ASAP start
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Essential Requirements
An Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Relevant experience is desirable but not essential—the right attitude matters most

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
