5-month contract with a local authority Job Purpose We are seeking a Resident Contact and Data Officer to enhance the accuracy of our resident data. This role will involve reaching out to residents to verify existing information and update any new data on our Housing Management system NECH. Key Duties/Accountabilities Collecting data on residents and inputting it into the appropriate system. Contacting residents to ensure the acquisition of up-to-date information. Identifying any welfare or safeguarding issues during conversations and initiating the correct referral processes when necessary. Liaising with other teams and services to appropriately address resident queries. Navigating various IT systems and extracting relevant information into the housing management system. Maintaining the confidentiality of resident data and information. Collaborating with colleagues across Housing, Digital, and other Council Services as required. Accurately utilising spreadsheets for data importation. Essential Experience Required Ability to interpret information and draw conclusions. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Excel software for data input and filtering. Experience of constructive collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers. Familiarity with Housing Management systems, preferably NECH. Essential Qualification Required Education or qualification in a related field is essential.
