Join Frontier's Technology Team
At Frontier, our Technology Team plays a vital role in enabling revenue growth, driving innovation, enhancing operational excellence, and reducing risk across all our UK and European offices. The team is structured into three collaborative functions, each building partnerships focused on user experience, cybersecurity, and business technology.
About the Role
As aTechnology Data Operations Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of strengthening our technology and security capabilities. You'll maintain and enhance critical business infrastructure, build robust and scalable data pipelines, and ensure that data flows seamlessly and securely across the organisation. Working closely with the Technology Operations Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll deliver solutions that support our people, clients, systems, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll play an active part in keeping our technology infrastructure secure, reliable, and future-ready, while ensuring data flows smoothly to support our people and clients.
Technology Operations Improvement
Maintain, optimise, and secure business systems and technology solutions, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms.Use data-driven insights to monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines.Monitor and resolve data flow issues to maintain seamless operations.Operational Efficiency & Change Management
Contribute to projects that enhance technology infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.Collaborate with teams to ensure technology solutions align with operational needs and drive business success.Automate deployment and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Validate and test data processes rigorously to ensure accuracy and reliability.Security & Compliance
Partner with the Technology Partnership team to uphold security standards and comply with internal policies and regulations.Implement encryption, data masking, secure transmission, and robust access controls.Support incident response and integrate threat detection into data workflows.Contribute to developing and maintaining data governance frameworks.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Work alongside the Technology Operations Manager to deliver on operational objectives.Communicate technical challenges, opportunities, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Act as a bridge between Technology Partnership teams and other business areas to improve workflows and the quality of data solutions.Desirable Skills and Experience
Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish.Experience with real-time data processing and streamlining workflows.Experience in governance, compliance, and industry standards, particularly in technology and security frameworks.Knowledge of data visualisation through dashboards and reporting tools.Understanding of networking concepts and data security best practices.Ability to automate repetitive data tasks using scripts or workflow management tools.Familiarity with security best practices and how they apply to, infrastructure ecosystems, including networks, cloud solutions, system architecture, and cybersecurity capabilities., to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.Experience in ERP and CRM solutions such as Workday, and Workbooks.The Benefits of Joining Our Team:
