What You'll Be Doing: Join our team as an IP Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting a Birmingham GP surgery with same-day clinical tasks. In this role, you will:
- discharge letters - respond to phone calls and minor ailments - sign electronic prescriptions for the day - invoice and pass information on to the PCN - collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care - maintain accurate patient records
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- a current and valid GPhC registration - Independent Prescriber qualification - completion of the CPPE pathway - experience working in primary care/GP environments - strong communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to work independently and as part of a team - a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This flexible position requires availability on Thursday and Friday afternoons (2:30pm-6:30pm). The role is initially onsite, with the potential to move remote after a few weeks. The contract is ongoing with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
