- THE ROLE;
* As Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead the team, being a Logistics Manager, a Planning Manager and 5 in procurement, by developing and executing the strategy for planning, procurement and logistics, aiming to improve efficiency, reduce cost and ensure timely product delivery, by managing and building relationships with key stakeholders.
* You'll ensure that materials, products and information flow efficiently across the organisation, supporting business objectives, cost optimisation and service excellence, ensuring PAS99 and ISOP rules and regulations are adhered to.
* As Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team across logistics, procurement and planning, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
* As Head of Supply Chain, you'll manage relationships with 3PLsm carriers and logistics partners to ensure service reliability and cost optimisation.
* You'll ensure effective inventory control, stock accuracy and warehouse performance.
* You'll implement procurement policies, governance and performance metrics to ensure transparency and value delivery.
* You'll collaborate closely with operations, sales and finance to balance capacity, inventory, demand and working capital.
* You'll drive digital transformation and the adoption of modern supply chain tools, analytics and automation and identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier performance, logistics disruptions and capacity constraints.
* You'll lead cost-reduction, process improvement and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
* The successful candidate will be Degree educated and CIPS qualified.
* You'll have managed budgets and delivered cost savings without compromising quality and be a strong leader, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* You'll have proven expertise in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Knowledge of end to end supply chain movement from procurement, planning, inventory management, S&OP and logistics processes.
* Knowledge of BES6001.

* £80,000- £85,000 basic salary dependent on experience.
