About The Role Balfour Beatty is proud to be part of the pioneering Net Zero Teesside development one of the UK’s most ambitious high profile low-carbon infrastructure programmes. As we support the delivery of this nationally significant project, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Redcar. You will play a central role in the commercial management of works associated with the Net Zero Teesside project, ensuring the effective administration of contracts, cost control, and commercial strategy. What you'll be doing As a Senior Quantity Surveyor You Will Lead the commercial and contractual management of allocated work packages Prepare, manage and negotiate subcontract agreements, variations, and procurement activities Maintain accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities Support project leaders with strategic commercial insight and advice Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and supply chain Mentor and support junior commercial team members.
