Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a respected secondary school in Bognor. This full-time role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on classroom experience or considering a future career in teaching.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing classes of students aged 11–16 when their regular teachers are unavailable, ensuring that learning continues smoothly. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, maintain a focused and positive classroom environment, and provide support across a variety of subjects. The role may also involve assisting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), helping them engage with lessons and participate fully in classroom activities. You will manage behaviour in line with school expectations, keep students on task, and provide clear feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and conduct.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary students, with any exposure to supporting SEN learners seen as an advantage. Confidence in managing classrooms, adaptability to changing situations, and strong interpersonal skills are essential, alongside patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people’s learning.
This position offers a full-time contract with an immediate start and competitive daily rates between £95 and £130.
