We provide specialist Cardiovascular and Cancer surgery and with a planned theatre expansion programme we have exciting opportunities to join us as in a support worker role. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced support workers with experience in operating theatre or similar environment. There is the opportunity to develop practical skills in the operating theatre and contribute to the care of our patients. We offer a wide range of development opportunities including, Band 3 development programme, development courses and study days.
* There are multiple roles and reserve lists may be maintained. Due to government threshold guidelines the trust is unable to provide sponsorship for this role. The post holder provides support and facilitates high quality individualized care to patients in collaboration with the multi-professional team utilising specialist knowledge. The post holder places the patient at the centre of service delivery by having a flexible safe approach to the provision of cover for the operating theatre and other departments/areas. The post holder is responsible for identifying and implementing measures to achieve cost improvement targets whilst maintaining quality.
