Trade Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist to join our UK Marketing team. This newly created role is a key support function for the Head of Marketing, designed to help deliver a broad range of integrated marketing activities. You’ll play a pivotal role in increasing brand visibility, driving consumer demand, and supporting revenue growth across multiple well-known brands in the housewares and lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will support the execution of marketing plans across the UK and Ireland, including:
* Coordinating multi-channel marketing and PR campaigns, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
* Supporting email marketing activities, from content creation to distribution.
* Ensuring all marketing communications adhere to brand guidelines for consistent messaging.
* Monitoring campaign performance and generating actionable insights for continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with the Ecommerce team to deliver engaging digital marketing campaigns.
* Coordinating in-store promotional materials and supporting display execution.
* Assisting with the organisation and delivery of trade shows, press events, and product launches.
* Creating sales presentations and coordinating customer communications.
* Managing and segmenting customer data to support targeted marketing efforts.
* Working closely with the national sales team to deliver retail marketing campaigns aligned with commercial goals.
* Coordinating the rollout of branded display units across retail environments.
* Managing the showroom diary and events calendar.
* Conducting competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
* Liaising with external agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across global offices.
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or a similar fast-moving sector.
* A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant professional experience.
* Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns, including digital and content.
* Strong project management and event coordination experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
* Familiarity with marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Google Analytics.
* A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Flexibility to travel to the office (Farnborough) and attend external events when needed.
