September Start | Long-Term Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher / Instructor to join a welcoming secondary school in the Long Sutton area from September 2026.
This is a long-term opportunity teaching Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the school ideally looking for a candidate available 5 days per week, although 4 days may be considered for the right applicant.
The Role
* Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Assess, monitor and support student progress.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and health & safety within practical lessons.
* Inspire students to develop their culinary skills, creativity and understanding of nutrition.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
* Experienced Food Technology Instructor applications are welcomed.
* Previous experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
The School
This role is based within a secondary setting in Long Sutton, serving students aged 11–16 and offering a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
