Psychology Graduate – Education & Pastoral Support (Sunderland, Durham, Gateshead & South Tyneside) Are you a psychology graduate passionate about supporting young people’s wellbeing, behaviour, and emotional development? We are looking for empathetic and motivated graduates to join our Graduate Programme, supporting pupils across secondary schools in Sunderland, Durham, Gateshead, and South Tyneside. This role offers invaluable experience for those considering careers in educational psychology, mental health, youth work, or pastoral support. About the Role As a Psychology Graduate, you’ll work as a Learning Support Assistant, focusing on helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential. You’ll gain hands-on experience with young people who have additional needs, including those with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural challenges. With training, you’ll also have the chance to step into a Cover Supervisor role—leading classes and managing learning environments while applying your psychology knowledge to support student engagement.
