Pharmacy Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. The successful candidate will support the daily operation of our pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and supply of prescribed medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist.
* Maintain accurate records and stock levels, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
* Provide excellent customer care, offering advice and support in a professional and confidential manner.
* Support the delivery of pharmaceutical services, including over-the-counter sales and health promotion.
* Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve performance and service goals.
Essential Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
* Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
* Basic IT and record-keeping skills.
Desirable
* Experience working in a community or hospital pharmacy setting.
* Knowledge of relevant pharmacy systems and procedures.
* NVQ Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards it).

Hours:
* Monday - Friday 9-6pm
* (Cover holiday/sickness) as per business need
* (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
