As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum. Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement. Supporting pupils of varying abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods where necessary. Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils’ learning experiences. Maintaining high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and child protection. Requirements for Maths Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Previous teaching experience in a school setting is desirable. Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and ability to teach across Key Stages. Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
