About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, who may or may not present in a challenging way, providing high-quality PBS interventions that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Our services are based in Kent, the Luton area (Bedfordshire) and Swindon and you will be expected to travel to undertake assessments and deliver PROACT SCIPr training to the teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) interventions.
* Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop personalised behaviour support plans.
* Work collaboratively with families, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of support.
* Provide staff training, coaching, and mentoring in PBS practices.
* Keep accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Requirements
* Essential: PROACT-SCIPr trained.
* Experience working in PBS, behaviour analysis, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of person-centred planning and behaviour support strategies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
