GSL Education are currently looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Peterlee.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils stay on task, follow set work, and remain engaged in their learning.
Prime Responsibilities:
* Supervise lessons using pre-prepared materials provided by teaching staff.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
* Support pupils in completing tasks and maintaining focus.
* Report on pupil engagement and any issues to teaching staff.
* Assist with general classroom organisation where required.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
* Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Confident, adaptable, and proactive approach.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a one.
