Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team in our children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working within a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs in residential or independent living settings. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into care for various reasons, often with disorders, behaviors, and needs requiring confident, patient, and skilled individuals to make a positive impact.
Your responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and take young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.

12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
13. Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as needed.
