Secretarial Team Assistant – Finance Top City law firm with offices near Liverpool Street station is on the lookout for a new Secretarial Team Assistant to join their Finance & Restructuring team. Salary to £28,500 fantastic employee benefits, including wellbeing fund, gym membership contribution, and more! 09:30-17:30 working hours Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote) Secretarial Team Assistant Key Responsibilities: Print, photocopy, and scan relevant documents as and when required, including assist with the preparation of Court/Counsel bundles, Deeds and fee earner working papers Assist with fee earner expense claims, cheque requisitions, and other banking related admin in a timely manner Manage the entry of timesheets for partners and assist with the billing administration process Prepare engagement letters including checking for retainers and any other new business intake administration Create, edit, or reformat document work that cannot be sent to the firm’s Document Production team Assist with event/meeting logistics such as booking rooms, arranging refreshments, equipment, arranging dial-in details and VC set-up and making restaurant reservations for client lunches/dinners Assist with travel bookings which may include single/return train/flight tickets, hotel, and taxi bookings Secretarial Team Assistant Skills & Requirements: 5 GCSE's graded 9-4 (AC), including Maths and English School/College leaver; CILEX is desirable but not essential Work experience within a law firm or professional services firm would be advantageous Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) A demonstrated ability to build effective and trusting relationships with people internally and external to the firm
