Building Physics Engineer Location: London Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 A multi-disciplinary consultancy firm is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Building Physics Engineer to join their growing team. As a Building Physics Engineer at the company, you will play a key role in delivering environmental performance analysis and sustainable design strategies across a variety of projects. Key responsibilities: Keeping up to date with changes to regulations, technology and practices in building physics and sustainability Conducting dynamic thermal modelling, daylighting analysis, and overheating assessment using tools such as IES VE or DesignBuilder Performing energy assessments, Part L compliance checks, and whole life carbon analysis Collaborating with architects, engineers and sustainability consultants to influence design from concept through delivery.What we’re looking for: A degree in Building Physics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subjects Minimum of two years’ experience in a Building Physics role Proficient in Energy Modelling, using IESVE software, conducting energy analysis Good understanding of UK building regulations and competency in undertaking environmental assessment methods I.E.
