Head of Finance – Fareham
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Venture Recruitment Partners are collaborating with a market leading SME targeting substantial growth within the next 3-5 years, to recruit a Head of Finance who will form part of the senior leadership team during an exciting period for the business.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee Group accounts and investments, leading, developing and motivating a small finance team, shaping the function as appropriate.
Continuously seek to identify opportunities to automate and develop processes, in addition to developing the utilisation of the accounting software.
Own and develop consolidated budgeting and reporting of the Group’s financial performance, reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.
Manage and maximise cash flow, ensuring sufficient working capital is available to support the growth of the Group;
Business Partner with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure commercial insight is maximised and contractual risks are reduced.
About you:
Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA is essential.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ operating within a finance leadership role.
Experienced working in a hands-on, collaborative, SME environment.
A proven track record of process / system development and automation.
