Job Title: Senior Change Governance Manager Change & Governance Manager / Agile Governance Manager / Change Assurance & Governance Lead Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid minimum two days per week in the office) Salary: £44,709 £53,347 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week) Sector: Public Sector Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established public sector organisation that plays a vital role in national service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced governance or assurance professional to take a senior role within a team focused on supporting large-scale digital and organisational change. As Senior Change Governance Manager, you will lead the application and ongoing development of the organisations governance framework for change delivery. This includes ensuring alignment with digital standards, supporting internal compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all change initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and maintain the organisations change delivery governance framework Act as the primary point of contact for external digital assurance bodies Oversee assurance reviews to ensure compliance with internal frameworks and national digital service standards Provide practical guidance, tools, and training to project teams to embed good governance practices Manage and support a small team of project and governance professionals Facilitate governance forums and support reporting to senior boards Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across government, ensuring alignment and best practice sharing Support development of business case templates and benefits delivery models Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a governance, assurance, or compliance role supporting project or change delivery Strong knowledge of Agile and other project management methodologies Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to influence at all levels Experience managing or mentoring team members Skilled in presenting, training, and facilitating workshops Excellent organisational and communication skills Whats on Offer: A senior-level role in a highly respected public sector organisation Flexible hybrid working with excellent work-life balance Generous public sector pension scheme 25 days annual leave plus 11.5 public and privilege holidays (rising with service) Structured induction and ongoing development opportunities Payment of professional membership fees where relevant Application Deadline: Tuesday 23 July 2025 Interviews: Expected to take place week commencing 4 August 2025
