Residential Property Lawyer

Full-time or Part-time | Permanent | Hybrid & Flexible Working

A respected and forward-thinking multi-office private practice law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Property Conveyancer / Residential Property Lawyer to join its busy and growing Property team in Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer with 3+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) who is looking for long-term progression within a supportive, modern practice.

Flexible, hybrid and part-time working arrangements are available for the right candidate.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Remortgages
* New build transactions
* Transfers of equity

In addition, the role may involve:

* Reviewing and reporting on title and contract documentation
* Dealing with enquiries raised by lenders, buyers, and solicitors
* Liaising closely with estate agents, mortgage brokers, and referrers
* Managing exchange and completion processes
* Drafting and negotiating ancillary documentation
* Ensuring compliance with lender requirements and timescales
* Maintaining accurate file records in line with regulatory obligations
* Supporting junior team members where appropriate

You’ll work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering a high standard of client care while maintaining strong professional relationships.

There will also be scope to contribute to business development and client relationship activities, should that interest you.

About You

You will ideally have:

* 3+ years’ PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing
* Strong technical knowledge of end-to-end conveyancing processes
* The ability to manage files independently and work under pressure
* Excellent organisational, drafting, and communication skills
* Confidence using case management systems and MS Office
* A high level of attention to detail and file management standards

Laundering Regulations

Experience with landlord and tenant matters or leasehold extensions would be beneficial but is not essential.
