We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner (GP) to join our Healthcare team at HMP Drake Hall, a women's closed prison located in Eccleshall, Stafford. Within this role you will work closely with a full multidisciplinary team, including an Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP) and Nurse Practitioner (NMP), to deliver high‑quality healthcare services.
Ideal applicants will have a special interest in female health and experience with LARC insertion and removal. The site aims to open a healthcare hub focusing on pregnancy, menopause and sexual health; the GP will be actively involved in the hub’s services.
Monday 8:00‑16:30, Wednesday 8:00‑16:30, Friday 8:00‑16:30 – 24 hours per week (part‑time).
Salary: £119,140 – £122,886 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

* Deliver first‑class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, with opportunities to broaden clinical experience across various settings.

Requirements
* MBChB or MBBS
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
* Experience working as a GP in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or readiness to undertake these qualifications
