Role Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits and engagement.
2. Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through proactive outreach and visits.
3. Foster customer loyalty through ethical and value-driven visits.
4. Discover and convert new business opportunities with distributors and end-users.
5. Develop strategic partnerships with key accounts within the market.
6. Acquire in-depth knowledge of filtration and engine systems to effectively carry out the role.
7. Clearly communicate and demonstrate Donaldson's value proposition to customers.
Travel: Up to 50%
Location: Ideally Midlands based due to the proximity of customers
Minimum Qualifications;
8. Proven experience in sales (and developing key strategic accounts)
9. Experience of working with CRM system
10. Proficient in English (verbal and written)
11. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications;
12. A degree in business, commercial, or technical fields is advantageous but not essential.
13. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
14. Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and create reports.
15. Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
16. Well-organized with excellent planning, time management, and self-administration skills.
17. Able to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure.
18. Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
19. Demonstrates a results-driven approach, with strong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing abilities.
20. Open-minded and eager to learn, with the ability to acquire technical knowledge in filtration.
