Job Title: Qualified GCSE Tutor
Location: Oxfordshire
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and structured lessons in GCSE Maths, English, and/or Science, focusing on key topics, exam preparation, and effective study techniques.
2. Develop and implement personalised lesson plans to address individual learning needs and academic objectives.
3. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to boost student confidence and achievement.
4. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varied learning styles, including providing tailored support for SEN students where necessary.
5. Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to excel.
Requirements:
6. Teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
7. Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in GCSE Maths, English and/or Science.
8. Right to work in the UK.
9. Must have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
10. Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
