Job Description
3. Ensure accurate and timely CBIRC regulatory and other data reporting (e.g., LCR) to Head Office.
4. Coordinate business plans, budgets, and strategy; track progress and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
5. Support Head and Deputy Head of Finance in improving the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.
6. Enhance financial analysis to aid understanding across departments and support informed business decisions.
7. Complete quarterly and yearly business forecasts as required.
8. Contribute to Annual Performance Assessment Policy and internal KPI processes.
9. Develop and improve reporting, budgeting, and forecasting procedures.
10. Collaborate with Product Control to automate FTP report projects.
11. Lead automation and process streamlining to optimise financial reporting.
12. Assist in monitoring capital adequacy, liquidity, large exposures, and performance of London entities when needed.
13. Ensure proper accounting records and internal controls in coordination with business managers.
14. Understand and adhere to Risk Management & Compliance framework and staff policies.
15. Report material risk events, including conduct risks and conflicts of interest, to department leadership.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant, Financial and Reporting should have:
16. A fluent Mandarin speaker - essential.
17. Experience in financial reporting/auditing within the financial services industry is desirable.
18. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
19. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
20. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
21. A meticulous approach with strong attention to detail.
22. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
