Government of Jersey is looking to recruit qualified Biomedical Scientists for new roles, including a permanent Biomedical Scientist Team Manager position for Haematology (working day shifts only) and a permanent Multidisciplinary Biomedical Scientist (rotation shifts including out of hours).

* Biomedical Scientist Team Manager in Haematology - Permanent
Salary CS11: £71,038 – £79,133
This is an exciting chance where you’ll take the lead in delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused diagnostic services. If you are a specialist biomedical scientist with large experience in haematology we would like to hear from you. Step into a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment where your leadership will help shape patient care and accelerate scientific progress.
To qualify for this role we require IBMS Higher specialist diploma in haematology or equivalent.
* Multidisciplinary Biomedical Scientist in Blood Sciences - Permanent
Salary CS10: £64,466 – £71,038 (plus extra £11,686 shift allowance)
Step into a key role at the heart of Jersey’s blood sciences service, supporting vital patient care during out of hours operations. You’ll work across haematology, blood transfusion and biochemistry, and if your expertise is focused in only one of these areas, we’ll provide full training to help you confidently cover the wider service.
To qualify for this role we require IBMS specialist portfolio in one of the blood sciences areas (haematology, transfusion or clinical biochemistry) or equivalent.
Our shift pattern includes a full week off, giving you the chance to relax, explore the island, or travel further afield. This role suits someone who enjoys working autonomously, thrives in a varied environment and is keen to broaden their skills while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
