You'll need to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a HVK license. Responsible for the efficient running of our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive feedback.
Leading a team to deliver excellent service, engage the team, and ensure best practices, you will support day-to-day activities including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment. You will manage project works with both team and subcontractors, plan and operate the rota system including on-call systems, and be available for call-outs. A good knowledge of fault finding and installation works is essential.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is important. Occasional late work and at least 1 weekend day per week coverage are required.
As part of the Resorts Management team, you will manage internal teams and external service providers to ensure full H&S compliance.
You will oversee team activities such as recruitment, performance, and development, supporting their growth through regular 1-on-1s and PDP discussions. Enjoy thinking on your feet and prioritizing guest experience.
About You
We seek an experienced electrical leader who can support the team, deliver excellent service, and prioritize guest satisfaction. Experience in team training and coaching in a lively environment is crucial.
You should have leadership experience, the ability to prioritize demanding workloads, work independently, and proficient PC skills. Confidence in responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards is necessary. Strong leadership skills to motivate and engage your team during high demand periods are vital, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
Inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results daily is essential.
General Duties & Key Accountabilities
* Manage team during shifts on key tasks and objectives.
* Drive sales and support promotions.
* Ensure availability of stock and propositions for guests.
* Maintain quality guest experiences per brand guidelines.
* Capture and respond to guest feedback.
* Prepare and manage rosters in SAM, ensuring accuracy.
* Monitor NPS and act on feedback.
* Coach and develop the team to meet departmental goals.
* Uphold Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
* Focus on RPRRT in team rosters.
* Build relationships across the resort and with support teams.
* Manage people support tasks including onboarding, PDPs, performance management, and HR processes.
