We’re recruiting a Night Transport Supervisor for a busy transport depot in Bromsgrove You’ll run the night operation looking after drivers, vehicles and routes and make sure everything runs safely, legally and on time. This is a hands-on transport office role in an HGV environment, not just a desk-only planning job. The Role – What you’ll be doing * Run the night operation end-to-end: allocate routes, brief/debrief drivers and make sure all customer requirements are met. * Act as the main contact for drivers and customers, dealing with issues such as breakdowns, delays and route changes. * Co-ordinate own fleet and sub-contractors to deliver cost-effective, on-time solutions. * Use in-cab tech and the TMS to plan, track and record work, including vehicle and trailer checks. * Support and develop drivers (including Driver CPC and on-the-job coaching) and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
