Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Worthing, Poole, Bournemouth and surrounding South Coast areas
Salary: Up to £34,000 DOE + Benefits
Role Overview
As a Field Service Technician you will travel to customer sites within the allocated region carrying out inspections, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on a range of specialist equipment. You will diagnose faults, resolve technical issues, and ensure equipment remains operational for customers. The role requires a practical, methodical approach, strong customer service and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently while representing the business professionally.
Responsibilities
* Inspect and maintain specialist equipment at customer sites
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs
* Manage own workload and schedule independently
* Provide excellent customer service and technical support
* Represent the company professionally at all client visits
Qualifications
* Technical or engineering background with basic electrical knowledge
* Fault‑finding skills and a practical approach to problem solving
* Strong communication and customer‑service skills
* Willingness to learn new products and technologies
* Full UK driving licence and flexible approach to regional travel
* Experience or aptitude in a military or commercial technical role is encouraged
