Full-Time Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support for Child with Cerebral Palsy
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, temp to perm
Are you passionate about supporting children with physical disabilities? Do you have the patience, kindness and dedication to help a child with cerebral palsy flourish in school?
We are looking for a caring and reliable Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child with cerebral palsy in a mainstream school in Watford. This is a full-time role starting September 2025.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing one-to-one support throughout the school day
* Assisting with mobility, personal care and adapting learning materials
* Supporting the child’s independence and confidence
* Working closely with teachers, therapists and family to follow the child’s individual plan
* Helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Have experience or a strong interest in supporting children with physical disabilities (experience welcomed but not essential)
* Are patient, empathetic and committed to making a difference
* Communicate well and work well as part of a team
* Are keen to learn and follow care and education plans
