Position: Outreach Teacher
Location: Hackney
Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NARIC
Salary Range: £150-£220 per day

The Outreach Program plays a crucial role in reaching and empowering students who require specialized assistance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an Outreach Teacher, you will:
Work directly with students in various settings, including schools, homes, and community centres, providing personalized academic support and interventions.
Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
Utilize a range of teaching strategies and therapeutic approaches to engage students, build their confidence, and foster their social and emotional development.
Advocate for the inclusion and acceptance of students with SEN/SEMH within schools and the broader community, promoting understanding and reducing stigma.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with SEN/SEMH needs.
Strong understanding of SEN/SEMH challenges and experience implementing effective interventions and support strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and professionals.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in various settings and respond to the evolving needs of students and schools.
