As a Business Analyst in our Justice & Immigration contracts, your responsibility will be to understand the organisation's requirements, identify areas for innovation, and initiate data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will support stakeholders to formulate a route from where the business is today to where it needs to be in the future.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Elicit, validate, prioritize, and document business requirements; translate them into functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
2. Work with internal development teams to oversee the implementation of new technology and systems.
3. Engage with stakeholders through workshops and other methods to elicit business requirements aligned with business objectives.
4. Produce refined User Stories and wireframes to validate user needs, with clear acceptance criteria for development, QA, and UAT.
5. Create relevant documentation such as BRDs and Traceability Matrices aligned with business requirements.
6. Collaborate with technical architects to understand technology limitations and recommend development options.
7. Lead the implementation of business process re-engineering activities, providing necessary information and solutions.
8. Document processes demonstrating how data and platforms should be used to meet business needs.
9. Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems with internal/external teams.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Recognized qualification in Business Analytics (preferably BCS certified) with strong experience in analysis, requirements engineering, and process modeling.
* Ability to articulate API specifications into business requirements.
* Strong skills in handling complex data and systems, with a background in business process application design and technical specifications.
* Proficiency in Jira, Visio, Excel, and the full Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience in business process re-engineering and innovative service delivery solutions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence at all levels.
* Strong stakeholder management skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
