Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Assurance Coordinator (SAC) to join our client's team. The SAC will be responsible for overseeing the security assurance processes across all networks and systems, ensuring that they are secure by design and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and security posture of our client's operations.

Clearance Requirement: Must hold or be eligible for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance

Responsibilities
* Security Assurance Oversight: Develop and implement security assurance documentation, processes, controls, and technologies to ensure all networks and systems are secure by design.
* Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
* Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards, frameworks, and regulations, including NIST, ISO 27001, and MOD JSP440.
* Security Documentation: Maintain and update security assurance documentation, including risk management and accreditation documents.
* Incident Management: Act as the Incident Manager during security incidents, coordinating response efforts and ensuring business recovery and contingency plans are executed effectively.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and service providers to ensure security requirements are met.
* Security Awareness: Support the delivery of the company's information security awareness, education, and training programs.
* Audit and Review: Coordinate periodic reviews of policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
* Security Assurance Expertise: Proven experience in security assurance roles, with a strong understanding of security standards and frameworks.
* Risk Management: Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
* Security Documentation: Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive security assurance documentation.
* Incident Management: Experience in managing security incidents and coordinating response efforts.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
Desirable Qualifications
* Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
* Security Frameworks: Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, MOD JSP440, and other relevant security frameworks.
* Security Clearance: Existing DV clearance is highly desirable.
