Job
The role of Legal Cashier will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the cashiering function
* Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
* Performing daily bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
* Completing day-end financial procedures in line with compliance requirements
* Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting processes
* Working closely with an external legal client to maintain high service standards
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legal accounting regulations and procedures
* Supporting wider finance operations with additional ad hoc duties as required
You
As a Legal Cashier, you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
* Previous experience within a legal cashiering or similar finance role
* Strong understanding of legal accounting rules and compliance requirements
* Experience handling bank reconciliations and high-volume transactions
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Experience within a law firm or outsourced finance environment would be advantageous
* Familiarity with legal accounting software such as Proclaim or Denovo would be beneficial
