Overview
A Private Client, Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive from 4 years PQE is required for a top law firm close to Dorking.
Responsibilities
* Handling a wide caseload of private client matters
* Drafting wills including drafting life interest trusts and vulnerable person trusts, and understanding inheritance tax planning that could be applied when the wills are being drafted
* Experience in administering estates, which would include estates that are liable to inheritance tax and dealing with the submission of an IHT400 to HM Revenue & Customs
* Experience in preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney
* Additional experience in trust management and Court of Protection applications and general management of a person\'s financial affairs would be useful, but not essential
The Candidate
* 4 years + PQE within the area of Private Client
* Have great attention to detail
* Works well under pressure
* Excellent client care skills
* Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
* Able to explain matters in clear, accessible language
* Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload (ideally including high net worth clients), with efficiency and care
* IT literate
