Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Band 5 therapist to join our forward‑thinking and supportive Acute team based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. The role will support a 7‑day service and provide assessment and intervention to general medical wards across the hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and intervention to patients on general medical wards.
* Develop and complete dysphagia management skills and in‑house dysphagia competency framework.
* Assess and provide input for a variety of communication and voice difficulties secondary to a range of medical conditions.
* Work in a domiciliary setting covering specialisms such as voice, aphasia, dysfluency, dysphagia, progressive neurological conditions and AAC.
* Attend training and meetings, and travel between locations as required.
Qualifications
Band 5 therapist with UK registration in a relevant therapy discipline.
