Our client, a well-established and highly respected retailer within the tools and construction equipment sector, is seeking a Customer Relations Advisor to join their busy contact centre. The Role:
This is not your average call centre role. As a Customer Relations Advisor, you will be handling a variety of inbound enquiries – from technical questions and delivery queries to exchanges and order placements. The focus is on delivering first-class service, engaging with customers, and ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing exceptional customer service across phone, email, and digital channels.
* Recommending products that best meet customer needs (training provided).
* Identifying opportunities for additional sales such as promotional items or product add-ons.
* Maintaining strong product knowledge through training and continuous learning.
* Efficiently managing administrative tasks with accuracy and speed.
* Building relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
About You:
* Customer-focused, confident, and motivated with a proactive attitude.
* Excellent communication skills, both telephone and written.
* Strong computer literacy.
* Positive, helpful, and enthusiastic personality.
* Experience in a contact centre or retail environment is an advantage, though not essential.
* Knowledge of power tools/hand tools would be a plus, but full training is provided.
