Quality Improvement Lead - Diagnostics
Home based with travel to meet the needs of the business
Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Improvement Lead to collaborate closely with both clinical and governance teams. This role will facilitate the effective delivery of clinical governance and quality management across Ramsay Health Care UK diagnostics Imaging services.
The role
The Quality Improvement Lead role involves managing clinical governance activities within diagnostic services, overseeing incident management and quality improvement programmes to ensure patient safety. Provide leadership, facilitation and specialist support to front line teams and leaders to help implement continuous improvement and quality management systems.
The post holder will ensure clinical practices adhere to evidence-based guidelines, professional standards, and national directives. They will support enhancement projects, audits, and the integration of patient engagement to enhance service delivery and evaluations, to promote a culture of continuous improvement across diagnostic imaging services.
What you’ll bring with you
* HCPC Registered BSc Diagnostic Radiographer/ or equivalent
* Evidence of post registration study and continuous professional development (CPD)
* Detailed knowledge of Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR2017), Ionising radiation Medical Exposure regulations (IR(ME)R17), Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR, 2017) and MHRA MRI safety guidelines.
* Experience in delivering effective quality improvement and clinical governance in a healthcare setting
* Experience in supporting the senior management team with internal and external inspection processes e.g. Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and other relevant agencies
* Experience in coordinating, facilitating, and supporting diagnostic imaging services in working towards achieving compliance with evidence-based clinical practices, national guidance, regulatory legislation, and Quality Standards for imaging actions and plans.
* Experience in risk management
* Experience in carrying out audits, analysing data and trends
* Experience in conducting and supporting patient safety incidents and investigations
* Proven experience working at a management level in the healthcare industry
* Excellent customer service and IT skills.
* Excellent organiser – need to be able to maintain and keep robust records and manage an online electronic filing system.
* Demonstrated communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to write and present reports to a wide audience.
* Self-starter with a flexible can do attitude.
