Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Endodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy and be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional environment. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating oral health issues while promoting overall dental hygiene.
this will start with one day per week preferably on a Friday,increasing in the future to more days.
Duties
* Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
* Create treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and available options.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
* Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for creating dental restorations and prosthetics.
* Interpret medical imaging results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
* Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:Evaluating patients' dental issues, including pain, infection, or trauma, and developing personalized treatment plans.
* Root Canal Treatment:Removing infected or damaged pulp from the tooth's root canal, cleaning and shaping the canal, and then sealing it to prevent further infection.
* Endodontic Surgery:Performing surgical procedures, such as apicoectomy (removal of the root tip) or root-end filling, to address complex cases or when conventional root canal treatment is not sufficient.
* Endodontic Retreatment:Correcting issues from previous root canal treatments that haven't healed properly or have re-infected.
* Pain Management:Administering local anesthesia and managing patient pain and anxiety during procedures.
* Collaboration:Working with general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Patient Education:Explaining treatment options, procedures, and aftercare instructions to patients.
* Maintaining Records:Keeping accurate and detailed patient records and adhering to professional and legal standards.
* Staying Updated:Continuing education and staying informed about advancements in endodontic techniques and technologies.
Experience
* A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution is required.
* Proven experience as a Dentist is preferred but not mandatory for recent graduates.
* Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and medical imaging techniques is essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: £47,441.83-£133,860.38 per year
