Nights Residential Child Care Worker | Children's Residential Service | North Lancashire
Location: North Lancashire (covering homes based in Lancaster, Thornton, Preesall & Heysham). Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 per annum. Full time (37 hours per week) with part-time options available. International sponsorship: this role is not open to international sponsorship.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the night care team in children’s homes, supporting the children overnight and ensuring the home is secure during the night.
* Provide 1:1 support to children around feelings, emotions, and behaviours; liaise with other professionals (social workers, schools, police, health workers) to meet a child’s needs.
* Engage with children in a respectful and supportive manner, offering a friendly presence and addressing any issues that arise.
