Sussex Premier Health ward delivers elective surgical care for a wide variety of specialities, in a private healthcare setting within East Sussex Healthcare Trust on the Conquest site.
The post holder will administrate the 21 bedded ward on a day to day basis, supporting staff to deliver safe high quality care.
To provide administrative support for the ward and provide a safe, welcoming, courteous and efficient reception service to accommodate the needs of patients, relatives, consultants and nursing staff.

Duties will include, welcoming, admitting and discharging patients, answering the telephone and communicating information to staff, filing medical records, booking appointments, and data entry.
Experience:
Essential criteria:
• Good general knowledge and GCSE level C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English
• Good keyboard and computer skills.
Desirable criteria:
• Previous experience working in a health care setting.
• Experience of IT skills such as PAS/IFIT/Evolve/ Nervecentre
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Customer service experience.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
