As part of their continued evolution, they’re hiring a Category / Product Manager – someone who can bring energy, insight, and strong product ownership to a fast paced commercial environment.
There is room to shape, challenge and truly own a category from pricing and supplier relationships to new product development.
Snippet of the Category Manager Role
* Be central to the business, working cross functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership.
* Take ownership of product categories that matter – including clubs, grips, shafts, and junior ranges.
* Play a vital part in a major strategic project: merging two children’s golf brands into one, creating synergy, reducing stock holding, and increasing market clarity.
* Travel internationally to source better, smarter products (including trips to the US and Far East) and attend shows like Orlando PGA Expo.
* Be part of a sport-led, passionate team – many of whom are golfers themselves and know the industry inside-out.
* Enjoy early Friday finishes, flexible working, golf perks, and a company culture that blends commercial ambition with lifestyle awareness.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone with strong commercial thinking, confidence in a room, and a genuine interest in sport. Especially golf.
Ideal Skills & Traits:
* A golfer or golf fan who gets the product and speaks the language of the customer.
* Experience in category management, buying, or product ownership.
* Able to challenge sales teams, present compelling ideas, and lead conversations around product and pricing.
* Strong negotiator and relationship builder, especially with suppliers and external partners.
* Highly organised with the ability to juggle deadlines, feedback loops, and evolving product timelines.
* Confident presenting internally and externally, with strong analytical skills to back up decisions.
