Counterbalance Forklift Driver – needed in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, Pay: £13.17 per hour increase to £13.53 with training, Shifts: 5 days over 7 on a shift rota (Mon-Sat working patterns may apply), Multiple start times from 04:00, 12 Week Temp to Perm opportunity, Immediate start. We are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy chilled warehouse environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable hours, ongoing training, and the potential for pay increases as skills and training develop. Key Responsibilities: · Operate a counterbalance forklift truck (FLT) to safely check, transport, load and unload goods across chilled warehouse and loading areas. · Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using order tickets and instructions · Carry out stock rotation and replenishment to maintain product flow and reduce waste · Support safe vehicle loading, ensuring orders are present, correctly placed, constrained and secured for transport · Move goods efficiently within the warehouse while maintaining high safety standards · Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment across warehouse and yard areas · Always follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations Requirements: · Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence · Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment · Ability to work in a chilled warehouse environment · Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness · Flexibility to support the team when needed · Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting Pay & Benefits: · Long-term roles with potential for permanent employment · Once permanent, you’ll receive the company’s full benefits package which will include the following: · Competitive salary with overtime opportunities · 30 days holiday allowance that increases with length of service · Refer-a-friend bonus scheme (£500 per referral) · Cycle to work scheme · Discounted products and delivery options · Aviva pension (4% employee, 4.5% employer contributions) · Health and wellbeing support through Simply Health (claim back eligible medical costs) Interested?
