Your New Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You’ll be confident stepping into the classroom, delivering planned lessons, and supporting pupils with a range of needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading whole-class learning in the absence of the teacher
2. Delivering small-group interventions and targeted support
3. Assisting with planning, preparation, and assessment
4. Supporting students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive practice
5. Working closely with teachers to raise attainment and engagement
6. Helping to create a positive, purposeful learning environment
7. Providing feedback on pupil progress and contributing to team discussions
8. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and is passionate about helping students achieve their best.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
9. HLTA status or equivalent experience
10. Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading to learning
11. Experience supporting pupils across different age groups or abilities
12. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
13. A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
14. The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
