As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will teach a broad curriculum including programming, algorithms, data representation, and cybersecurity, helping pupils develop both technical expertise and logical thinking. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a Computer Science Teacher. Teach programming languages and core computing principles. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary. Support pupils in developing digital literacy and safe online practices. Requirements of Computer Science Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. A commitment to raising attainment and student engagement. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
