Job Title: Locum Consultant in Diabetes
Location: Wrexham
Rate: £95 - £105
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: April - October
"Consultant with special interest in Diabetes (preferably).
To cover a 6 month period starting Early April.
The job plan is flexible at present, and will contain some GIM ward cover/inpatient referrals, along with some clinic activity and clinical validation.
The post will be based in Wrexham, but for clinics they may be required to be in one of our community hospital sites in Deeside/Mold or Chirk.

Responsibilities
* Managing acute admissions and medical take
* Leading multidisciplinary teams in acute settings
* Supervising junior doctors and trainees
* Contributing to service development and audits
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
* MRCP or equivalent
* A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
* UK Right to Work
* Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
* CCT in Acute Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving it)
