Interim Special Education Need and Disability Officer

Salary: £300.00 Daily

Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and EHC Plans, ensuring all statutory timescales are efficiently met.
* Coordinate and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they are person‑centred and outcome‑focused.
* Liaise effectively with schools, parents/carers, health and social care professionals to gather necessary advice and ensure effective provision is in place.
* Ensure full compliance with SEND legislation and statutory guidance, including the SEND Code of Practice for 0‑25 years.
Qualifications
* Possess a Degree or equivalent qualification. A background in education, social care, or a related field is desirable.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development to keep abreast of current practices and legislation.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, specifically the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice for 0‑25 years.
* Enhanced DBS clearance is essential for the role.
