The Role: Full-time maternity cover: This position is to cover a maternity leave, starting immediately, and is expected to last for the full academic year. Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students of mixed abilities, inspiring a love of literature and language. Potential for TLR: For experienced candidates with a proven track record of leadership and a desire to take on additional responsibilities, a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) may be available. This could involve leading on a key area within the English department, such as KS3 coordination, literacy intervention, or GCSE coursework support. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
